Aluminium Cheese Pipes

Aluminium Cheese Pipes

We manufacture and supply Aluminium Cheese Pipes made from Hard Aluminium Alloy for long and wear-free life. Aluminium has been conventionally recommended for Cheese Pipe applications due to its light weight and soft touch; it also offers excellent salvage value at the end of its useful life. These pipes are made in 2.5 mm or more thickness to meet the demands of this industry. Sizes available are 32 mm ID and 35 mm ID × 2.5 mm for the Woven Sack industry. Special sizes can be developed to suit specific requirements.

Protection and Finish

Aluminium Cheese Pipes can be supplied plain or Anodized as per customer requirements. Pipes can also be Zinc Plated or Powder Coated for protection as well as individual identification to segregate different deniers / grades of tape during storage. The most common reason for coating cheese pipes is to provide a uniform reflection co-efficient for colour detectors at the loom — Black is generally the preferred colour for this purpose, though other colours can be imparted on demand. Aluminium Tubes can also be supplied with Flutes to accommodate reflective tapes.

Punching of Holes / Notching

Some winders / looms need pipes to have notches for fixing the tubes while others require holes for light sensitive reflectors to be placed inside the tubes. Such features can be provided wherever ordered.

Packing

Standard packing consists of durable HDPE sacks of 100 or 150 nos each. However, other types of packing in Paper Carton are also available if required for export or transit over long distances.
